At B. Holland & Sons Ltd we believe that businesses within the packaging industry have an innate responsibility to ensure that the products they manufacture and supply are produced and recycled in the most environmentally-friendly methods possible. We take care to purchase our materials and to dispose of our own waste with this in mind.

A high percentage of the corrugated sheet board we convert contains 100% recycled material and any virgin Kraft papers used are themselves, made from over 70% recycled paper and only 30% new material. In addition, all of the cardboard packaging we supply is 100% recyclable, biodegradable and compostable. We choose our board suppliers according to a number of important factors, one of which is their environmental sustainability policy.

Our stocks of once-used and redundant cartons help to ensure that packaging still with useful value is given a further chance in the consumer market, rather than ending up as waste material too soon.

And more recently we have begun to look for additional product ranges that can improve the impact of packaging on the environment, such as biodegradable bubblewraps and loosefills.
